Short Description:

Drag-reducing agent is used in long-distance pipeline, suitable for crude oil pipeline, polymer produced by common process, suitable for pipeline with more injection of drag-reducing agent to obtain higher effect of increasing transmission/reducing drag, better environment for preservation, more suitable for pipeline with large temperature difference between day and night, and generally higher temperature (drag-reducing agent). Storage temperature does not exceed 60 ℃. Usually the injection concentration is more than 15 ppm. By adding a small amount of drag reducing agent (ppm level) to the pipeline, the physical effect can be eliminated, the turbulence of high-speed fluid can be eliminated, and the drag of delay can be reduced. Finally, the purpose of increasing pipeline transportation capacity and reducing pipeline operation pressure can be achieved. The performance of drag reducing agent is greatly affected by the pipeline working conditions. The increase rate of drag reducing agent tested by the manufacturer only represents the data of the drag reducing agent on the manufacturer’s experimental pipeline. The actual value should be based on the local test data.

Application method

The product itself can be used in most long-distance pipelines, only for crude oil pipelines. Users need to provide specific parameters of pipelines to manufacturers for simple calculation.

Drag reducer is injected into the pipeline quantitatively through plunger pump, and the injection point should be chosen at the back end of the oil pump and as close as possible to the exit end. For multi-pipeline, the injection point should be selected at the back end of the pipeline junction. In this way, drag reducer can play its performance well.

Packed in IBC container barrel, 1000L/barrel. Or based on customers’ request.
